Police Cancel King Saha’s Music Concert

King Saha’s concert, originally set for Friday 24th January, has been canceled after the Uganda Police identified possible structural risks at the Lugogo Cricket Oval. The singer, whose real name is Mansur Ssemanda, has been promoting the event for months and inviting fans to come out and enjoy his music. However, according to police assessments, the venue failed to meet the required safety standards and posed a risk to attendees.

The police spokesperson announced that the decision to halt the show followed recommendations from both joint security and a national security technical team, who found signs indicating the facility could potentially threaten public safety. The authorities advised that the event could only proceed once the necessary repairs and improvements were completed.

Despite these developments, King Saha insists that the concert will take place as planned. He has used his social media channels to reassure fans, urging them to show up at the venue early, with gates reportedly opening at 9:00 AM on Friday.
