A young man is seeking justice after he was allegedly assaulted by his partner’s family, who demanded that he end their relationship. He claims the attack took place when three members of the family accused him of using a love potion to keep their sister close.
According to the young man, he was in his rented room with his partner when the incident occurred. “They first knocked on the door, but we didn’t open. They kept banging, demanding that we let them in. Eventually, they started breaking windows. I was worried because this is a rented place,” he explained.
When the couple finally opened the door, his partner fled the scene, leaving him to face the family alone. “They entered the room and started beating me,” he said. The attackers allegedly told him they were assaulting him because they wanted him to end the relationship.
“They said they don’t want me in their sister’s life and that I should stop bringing her to my room. I told them she came willingly and that we were happy together. We’ve been in a relationship for three years,” he recounted.
The family also accused him of using a love potion, claiming their closeness was unnatural. “They even said I must have given her something because we’re always together,” he added.
The young man revealed that the family had only recently begun to disapprove of the relationship. “They were fine with it before, but they started objecting to it late last year,” he said.
During the attack, his belongings were also damaged. “They are trying very hard to break us up. They even took her phone. I can’t contact her, and she can’t reach me,” he said.
Despite the separation, his partner managed to call him from a different number and informed him that her family had confiscated her phone. “She told me they took it so she couldn’t speak to me. I didn’t force her to be with me; we fell in love naturally,” he said.
Determined to seek justice, he reported the incident to the police. Authorities have confirmed that they are investigating cases of assault and malicious property damage.
