Ugandan Businesswoman Arrested After Lover’s Body Is Found in A Pool of Blood Outside Their Room

Residents of Akesi Cell in Nebbi Municipality were shocked after the body of a man was discovered near his lover’s house.

The deceased, Francis Biloyotho, 38, was reportedly killed after spending the night at the suspect’s home.

The tragic incident was first noticed by schoolchildren who were on their way to school early in the morning.

According to witnesses, the children saw the body lying in a pool of blood just a short distance from the suspect’s house.

Alarmed, they ran to inform adults, who then alerted the authorities. One of the residents, Rose Ayerango, confirmed that Biloyotho was well-known in the area.

“When the children ran to us, we went to the scene and found that it was someone we knew,” said Ayerango.

Police and local leaders arrived at the crime scene to investigate. James Ocaka, the chairman of the local council (LC1), revealed that there were large amounts of blood inside the woman’s house.

Bloodstains were found on the floor and on some clothes. This suggested that the attack may have happened inside before the body was moved outside.

“The body was then pulled about 10 meters to the septic tank,” Ocaka explained, indicating that there may have been an attempt to cover up the crime.

Following this discovery, authorities arrested the woman for questioning.

The police are now working to determine the circumstances surrounding Biloyotho’s death.

Nebbi District Police Commander Filbert Waibi confirmed the suspect is in custody and will be interrogated further.

“We urge residents to be vigilant and report any criminal activity immediately,” Waibi advised.

Meanwhile, Biloyotho’s body has been taken for a postmortem examination.

The police will rely on forensic evidence and witness statements to establish the exact cause of death and whether the suspect was directly involved in the murder.

The incident has left the community in shock, with many calling for increased security in the area.

Residents fear that such cases may increase if law enforcement does not act quickly to ensure justice is served.

Authorities have assured the public that a full investigation will be conducted.
