Manigamukama Deogratious, who passed away on the morning of March 15, 2025, at Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital. The university community and beyond are grieving the loss of a promising young scholar whose life was cut short after a battle with an undisclosed medical condition.
According to university sources, Manigamukama Deogratious was pursuing a Diploma in Education (Primary Recess) at the institution. Known for his dedication and academic brilliance, he was described as an active participant in class and a student who fostered strong connections with his peers. “He was a brilliant student with a bright future ahead of him,” a university spokesperson said. “His presence will be dearly missed by all who knew him.”
