65-Year-Old Woman Found Murdered in Budaka, Body Parts Missing

Police are investigating the murder of a 65-year-old woman. Nadome Ludia, was discovered murdered in her home in Buchera village, Kameke sub-county, Budaka District, on the morning of September 22, 2024.

Neighbors became concerned when Nadome, who lived alone, had not left her house by 10 a.m., leading one of them to check on her, only to find her lying in a pool of blood.

Police were alerted and swiftly began investigating the case, registering it under file CRB 56/2024. At the scene, officers discovered that Nadome’s hand and other body parts were missing, and a panga, suspected to have been used in the murder, was recovered.

The body has been sent to Mbale City Mortuary for a postmortem examination. Semewp confirmed the suspected murder.
