A fatal road crash occurred today February 9, 2025, at around 06:00 AM, has claimed the life of Isaac Ddumba, a former worker of New Vision.
The incident happened at Kyelima Hard Warehouse turning point Bata Bata along the Entebbe-Kampala Road, involving motor vehicle CGO 9207AF 19 Toyota Prado TX.
According to preliminary investigations, the driver traveling from Entebbe lost control of the vehicle, knocking down Isaac Ddumba a pedestrian standing by the roadside.
The victim was dragged into a drainage channel with water, where he succumbed to his injuries.
SP Micheal Kananura spokesperson Directorate of Traffic and road safety noted that, The body of the victim has been taken to Mulago City Mortuary, while the motor vehicle has been towed to Namasuba Police Station for further investigation.
