NBS Sports Uganda took to the media and announced the death of a popular Uganda player and coach. According to the source, the Uganda Lacrosse Association is mourning the sudden demise of coach Mubarak Manshur.
Sources revealed that Mubarak Manshur was a player and a coach. Reports also indicate that he was the founder of Kibuli Hornets Lacrosse Academy. He was also a dedicated player for the senior men’s national team where he was best known for wearing jersey number 3.
Mubarak Manshur helped nature young talents including Swibu Meliga who represented Uganda at international tournament in Ireland in the year 2022 and San Diego, California in the year 2023. Sources revealed that Manshur succumbed to a short illness while receiving treatment at the hospital. He leaves behind a legacy of dedication to the sport and his local community in Kibuli.
