In a surprising twist, Acram Gumisiriza is being accused of using his estranged wife Hajat Kulthum Nabunya’s, TikTok account to post a heartfelt birthday message to himself.
The message appeared early this morning on Kulthum’s official TikTok profile, wishing Acram a long life and expressing hopes that he would live to see his great-grandchildren. The post also criticized bloggers and YouTubers for allegedly spreading falsehoods about their recent split.
The post quickly sparked confusion and speculation among followers, especially given Kulthum’s recent public confirmation that her marriage to Acram had officially ended.
In response, Kulthum distanced herself from the post and clarified that she was not the author. She revealed in an interview with media personality Kasuku that Acram still has administrative access to her TikTok account and may have used that access to publish the message.
Kulthum affirmed that she remains firm on her decision to end the marriage and that Muslim leaders are currently involved in formalizing the divorce process.
