Andrew Kyamagero leaves NTV

Journalist and news anchor Andrew Kyamagero has announced his departure from NTV Uganda after years at the leading media house.

Kyamagero shared the news on X (formerly Twitter), expressing deep gratitude to the station and its viewers.

The journalist, known widely for his wry sense of humour, relaxed, and intelligent delivery revealed the news of his departure via X on Thursday evening.

He thanked NTV Uganda for providing him the platform to serve the country.

“After years of sharing and anchoring the stories that shaped us as a nation, I am humbled by the unwavering support of you, our great viewers. Thank you for trusting me to bring the news that defined who we are. Deep gratitude to NTV Uganda for offering me a platform to serve my country in various capacities. Tonight marks my last bulletin. It’s been an honor and privilege to serve you all.” Kyamagero wrote on X
