Police in Kampala have recovered four bodies from Nakivubo Channel following heavy rainfall that caused severe flooding across the city on Friday morning. According to Luke Owoyesigyire, the Deputy Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson, the deceased are believed to have been among the homeless men who often slept along the drainage channel. “We have retrieved four bodies from Nakivubo Channel. We suspect that these were the boys who usually sleep in the area. Investigations are ongoing to establish their identities and the exact cause of death.
