Boda Boda Rider Murdered in Nakaseke, Motorcycle Stolen

Police in Nakaseke District have launched an investigation into the murder of a 28-year-old boda boda rider, Adam Jjuko, from Kalule Village in Nyimbwa Subcounty, Luwero District.

The incident took place on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at around 6:00 PM. Jjuko had picked up a passenger from Kalule Village, who asked to be taken to Nakaseke District.

Upon reaching Kyangato Village, the passenger reportedly attacked Jjuko, striking him on the head with a metal object, leaving him seriously injured.

The attacker then fled with Jjuko’s motorcycle, a red Bajaj Boxer, registration number UFY 267F.

Jjuko was found by fellow boda boda riders and rushed to Bombo Hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

A murder case has been opened, and the police continue to investigate, urging anyone with helpful information to come forward.

This brutal act has left the local community, especially the boda boda riders, shaken, with calls for improved security measures to ensure their safety.
