Body of Missing Businessman Found in Sugar Cane Plantation

A businessman who went missing in Masindi has been found dead.

Ismail Naddo 31, a resident of Kirasa II Cell in Masindi Municipality went missing from his home on October 1, while riding on a motorcycle registration number UFQ 670U.

His family members waited for him to return home in vain and were compelled to report the matter to Masindi police.

On Friday, the body was found dumped in a sugar cane plantation in Katugo village, Kiruli sub-county by cane cutters who later alerted the police.

The body had deep cuts on the head an indication that he could have been attacked and killed and his motorcycle stolen.

Julius Hakiza, the Albertine region police spokesperson says, the postmortem report indicated that the deceased succumbed to injuries inflicted on him.
