KIU Beautiful Student Found Dead In Bushenyi, Police Arrest Two Boyfriends

Police in Bushenyi District have launched an investigation into the death of 21-year-old Linette Karunga, a student at Kampala International University (KIU) Western Campus, whose body was discovered in Nyakashebeya Village, Nyabubare Parish. The circumstances surrounding her death remain unclear, prompting a swift response from both local leaders and law enforcement.

According to initial reports, residents found Karunga’s body early this week and immediately alerted authorities. Officers from the Greater Bushenyi Police region arrived at the scene to begin inquiries and secure evidence that may help explain what happened.

Police confirmed that two men believed to have had romantic ties with the deceased have been arrested to assist in the investigation. The suspects, identified as Onan Nimwesiga and another man known as Farouk, are currently being questioned as detectives work to piece together the events leading to Karunga’s death and determine whether foul play was involved.

Security officials have urged members of the community to avoid speculation as the investigation continues, assuring the public that all angles are being thoroughly examined to establish the truth behind the tragedy.
