Kabogoza Yuda Taddeo, a father of 31 children, is accusing his wife, Namugenyi Julian, of plotting to take his property after she filed for divorce. Kabogoza claims Namugenyi is demanding ownership of their house in Wankulukuku along with a monthly support payment of Shs700,000 in ‘Kameeza’ money.
Kabogoza alleges that Namugenyi forced him and 25 of his children to leave their home, leaving only the six children he shares with her still living there. He says he was forced to rent another place but refuses to allow her to take their house.
In addition, Kabogoza accuses Namugenyi of removing him from a shop he established for her in downtown Kampala, where he claims to have invested over Shs20 million, now contested as her sole business.
Namugenyi, who says she married Kabogoza at age 18, counters these claims by alleging years of mistreatment, which she says ultimately led to her decision to move on from the marriage. She denies forcing Kabogoza’s other children out of the house and asserts that her Kampala shop was started with her own funds.
Namugenyi also claims Kabogoza fathered children with other women, pointing out that many of his 31 children have different mothers.
