A man in Kenya has been left heartbroken after discovering that his wife, Paulina, died in a guest house while with another man.
Paulina, a mother of three, reportedly sneaked out of their home late at night to meet her secret lover. Her husband, a motorcycle taxi rider, returned home to find their children alone and hungry, wondering where their mother had gone.
He tried to reach her by phone, but it was switched off. He fed the children and waited through the night, hoping she would return. When she didn’t, he went to the police the next morning to report her missing.
Hours later, his world fell apart when he was informed that a woman matching his wife’s description had been found dead in a nearby guest house. When he went to identify the body, he confirmed it was indeed his wife. Reports indicated that she had checked in with another man, who escaped before police arrived.
The tragedy has since taken another painful turn, as Paulina’s family is now fighting her husband over who should bury her and who will take care of the children.
Despite the betrayal, the grieving husband said he still loved his wife deeply and had always hoped they would face life’s struggles together.
