MP Tickles Mourners After Saying Women Liked Late Husband: “He Loved Them Back”

A member of Parliament has caused laughter at her husband’s funeral while recalling his love for women. Naome Kibaaju’s tribute to her late husband touched many.

How did MP honour late hubby? Naome Kibaaju, an MP representing the Sheema North constituency in Uganda, lost her husband, a prominent businessman.

Obadiah Ntabekeine Rushambuza was rushed to several hospitals after suffering a stroke before dying at Kenya’s Aga Khan Hospital aged 71.

A video doing rounds online shows the legislator sharing the hard time she had due to her husband’s appeal to women.

“He had a breath of fresh air around him. People liked him- even women loved him, and he loved them back. He was good,” she said as the mourners laughed.

The MP disclosed that her hubby charmed women.

“I will not fear to say so. To be his wife was a job for me. We would go somewhere, and you see a woman giving him a peck, and he would respond. He didn’t refuse. “He was sweet and sour, like a Chinese dish. We fought wars, played games, loved, broke up, and returned together.”

Kibaju said that they were together for 42 years. “I want to honour and thank him. He is gone, but we had our best lives.”
