He also successfully invaded the field at Lord’s and Headingley Test matches that same summer and was led off the field by security at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai after disrupting India’s 2023 Cricket World Cup opener against Australia.
In court the following year, it was revealed that Jarvis had hidden in a toilet before seizing his chance to dart onto the field of play. Jarvis was found guilty of aggravated trespass.
Other sports have also fallen victim to Jarvis’s tomfoolery. In October last year, he got onto the pitch at the Stade de France after the Rugby World Cup final and was pictured celebrating alongside Faf de Klerk, Cheslin Kolbe, Bongi Mbonambi, and Franco Mostert.
However, Jarvis does not limit himself to pitch invading. Last year, he claimed responsibility after “sex noises” were played over Gary Lineker during BBC coverage of an FA Cup tie between Liverpool and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
