Ruparelia Foundation Brings Christmas Gifts and Support to Children in Nansana

Children at Moksha Preaching and Training Centre in Nansana received a festive boost as the Ruparelia Foundation delivered gifts and essential supplies aimed at improving daily living and supporting education. The initiative, led by Jyotsna Ruparelia, wife of businessman Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia, continues the foundation’s long-term commitment to vulnerable communities across Uganda.

The donation, valued at millions of shillings, included mattresses, bed covers, rice, sugar, salt, and scholastic materials. Each item was carefully selected to enhance living conditions and provide practical learning support for children who depend on external assistance.

Addressing the children, Jyotsna Ruparelia emphasized the importance of responsible use of the items, saying, “These items are meant to support your daily lives and education. Please use them wisely and take good care of them.” She highlighted discipline and the need to sustain the benefits beyond the holiday season.

The Ruparelia Foundation has maintained a strong partnership with Moksha Preaching and Training Centre, covering school fees for over forty children, in addition to providing essential supplies and educational resources. Caretakers described the support as transformative, noting that it enables children to concentrate on education rather than daily survival challenges.

“The Ruparelia Foundation has not only provided for material needs but also reminded these children that their wellbeing matters to the wider community,” said one caretaker, reflecting on the foundation’s broader impact.

This year’s festive donation was also dedicated to the late Rajiv Ruparelia, whose vision emphasized social responsibility and community upliftment. Jyotsna Ruparelia explained that the Nansana initiative is part of ongoing efforts to honor his legacy.

“Rajiv believed that uplifting the less privileged is a shared responsibility. We shall continue this work in his memory,” she stated, reaffirming the foundation’s commitment to child welfare and education nationwide.

For the children, the event offered more than material support; it was a day of recognition and celebration, marked by the presence of individuals who have invested in their growth and wellbeing.

Across Nansana and other communities supported by the foundation, the initiative highlights how sustained, targeted interventions can create tangible opportunities for vulnerable children. Through consistent engagement, the Ruparelia Foundation continues to combine practical assistance with long-term commitment, ensuring that its impact extends far beyond the holiday season.
