The incident involved Sgt. Minani Gervais, 39, who allegedly opened fire in a local bar, killing five civilians. The shooting occurred in the early hours, leaving the local community in shock.
Sgt. Gervais has been apprehended, and the RDF has confirmed that he will face legal proceedings to address his actions. The RDF extended condolences to the families and friends of the victims and acknowledged the profound impact of the tragedy on the community.
