University Student Found Dead Minutes After Answering An 11:00 p.m. Call

Tragedy struck the University of Nairobi community when a student, identified as Mercy Kwamboka, was found dead under mysterious circumstances after receiving a phone call late at night. Kwamboka, who lived in the Pipeline area of Nairobi, answered a call at around 11 p.m. and left her home, only for her body to be discovered the following day in Kasarani Estate.

According to eyewitness accounts, Kwamboka’s body was found with severe injuries, indicating she had been tortured before her death. Her leg was described as being broken “like a piece of sugarcane,” and she appeared to have been dragged for some distance. The most harrowing detail was that acid had been poured on one of her hands.

An eyewitness at the scene recounted that Kwamboka was found lying on the ground, wearing only her innerwear, with a phone, KSh 1,000( around UGX 28000), and a blanket placed next to her body. “It’s as though she was dropped at the scene by a vehicle,” the witness remarked.

What makes the situation even more tragic is the revelation that Kwamboka was still alive by 1:00 p.m. the following day but was unable to walk or call for help due to her injuries. She was discovered in an isolated area, far from immediate assistance.

As investigations continue, authorities are trying to piece together the events that led to Kwamboka’s death. The police have not yet provided any updates on suspects or motives behind the killing. However, her friends and family, devastated by the loss, are calling for swift justice.
