A video has surfaced online showing a Centenary Bank staff member, identified as Bernard, arriving at work in an intoxicated state.
The footage, which has been widely shared on social media, captures Bernard slumped over his desk, struggling to keep himself upright. Witnesses claim he was still dressed in the same clothes from the previous day, suggesting he may not have gone home the night before.
His supervisor, seemingly aware of the situation, confronted Bernard while recording the incident. In the video, the supervisor is heard reprimanding him, saying, “How do you come to the office like this? Just pack your things and go home and rest. I’m recording your video so the world can see what a mess you are!”
The video was reportedly sent to the regional manager for further action.
The incident has sparked mixed reactions from the public. Some have raised concerns about the bank’s image and workplace policies, questioning how an employee could report to duty in such a condition. Others have criticized the supervisor for recording and sharing the video, arguing that it was unprofessional.
Meanwhile, some social media users have expressed sympathy for Bernard, speculating that he could be dealing with personal struggles.
Centenary Bank has not yet released an official statement on the matter.

The bank should chase away the one who recorded. You cant work with a person who has no royality. Imagine you display a workmate like that?. If he know some things in the closet of the bank, he shall sell them. He is an existential threat to the bank.
