The Deputy President of the National Unity Platform (NUP) for Western Uganda, Hon. Jolly Mugisha, has passed away, according to Party President Robert Ssentamu Kyagulanyi, popularly known as Bobi Wine.

Kyagulanyi announced Hon. Mugisha’s death on Monday through his X (formerly Twitter) account, expressing his sorrow.

“It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of Hon. Jolly Mugisha, the National Unity Platform Deputy President for Western Uganda,” Bobi Wine stated.

Bobi Wine revealed that Mugisha had been in a coma for several weeks at Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital in Mbarara City, where she eventually passed away.
